Boss Motto is built for business owners who want the digital side professionally handled. The Concierge Plan provides ongoing management of your website, domain connection, Google presence, promotional support, and routine digital updates.
Your Domain and Website Are Separate Assets
Your domain name is your business’s online address, such as yourbusiness.com.
Your website is the digital property connected to that address. It includes the design, pages, structure, layout, functionality, forms, technical configuration, and other website elements.
Under an active Boss Motto plan, we manage both for you. If service is canceled, the domain may be transferred to you when the eligibility requirements below are met. The website remains part of Boss Motto’s managed infrastructure unless you purchase Website Buy-Out & Transfer.

How Website Ownership Works
Boss Motto operates under a managed-service model. While you are enrolled in an active Concierge or eligible Maintenance Status plan, your website remains within Boss Motto’s agency-managed infrastructure.
Boss Motto manages the website platform, hosting connection, technical setup, security, maintenance, and updates included within your plan. This structure allows clients to receive professional support without having to manage the platform independently.
Monthly service payments provide access to the managed website and included services. Monthly payments do not automatically purchase or transfer ownership of the website, design, platform account, templates, technical configuration, or Boss Motto-created infrastructure.

Domain Name Management & Transfer
A domain name is your business’s online address. Boss Motto may purchase, register, renew, configure, and manage a domain on behalf of an active client as part of the managed-service relationship.
When Boss Motto purchases and registers the domain, Boss Motto retains control and management of that domain while the applicable service plan remains active.
While Your Plan Is Active
- Boss Motto manages the domain through its selected registrar
- Boss Motto handles renewal coordination while the domain remains included in the active service arrangement
- Boss Motto manages DNS settings, website connections, and technical domain configuration
- The domain remains connected to the Boss Motto-managed website
- Clients must provide accurate business and contact information when requested
When Your Plan Is Canceled
- An eligible domain may be transferred into the client’s ownership
- The client must have an account in good standing
- All outstanding invoices and balances must be paid in full
- The client may need to create an account with the applicable domain registrar
- The client becomes responsible for future renewals, privacy services, registrar fees, and domain management
Domain Transfer Eligibility
A domain registered by Boss Motto for a client is eligible for transfer after cancellation when:
- The client’s account is in good standing
- All outstanding balances, invoices, and authorized charges have been paid
- The client provides the registrar username, account email, or other information required to complete the transfer
- The domain is not subject to a registrar lock, transfer hold, ownership dispute, expiration issue, or other restriction outside Boss Motto’s control
What Happens When a Plan Is Canceled?
When a Concierge or Maintenance Status plan ends, ongoing services provided under that plan also end.
Your Domain Name
If Boss Motto registered the domain for your business, the domain may be transferred to you after the eligibility requirements are satisfied.
After transfer, you may connect the domain to another website, platform, or service provider of your choice.
Your Website
The website does not automatically transfer when service is canceled.
Unless Maintenance Status is approved or Website Buy-Out & Transfer is purchased, the website may be unpublished, suspended, disconnected from the domain, or otherwise removed from public use.

Client-Owned Content
Clients retain ownership of original business materials they provide to Boss Motto, including their business name, logo, product information, original photographs, written materials, trademarks, and other client-owned content.
Upon request, Boss Motto may provide available copies of eligible client-owned materials in Boss Motto’s possession.
Website layouts, page structures, templates, design systems, custom configurations, technical setup, platform structure, and other Boss Motto-created website assets remain part of Boss Motto’s managed infrastructure unless expressly included in a completed Website Buy-Out & Transfer.
Maintenance Status — Limited Option
Maintenance Status is intended for eligible clients who no longer need regular updates, Google Business Profile management, promotional support, or proactive digital guidance.
It is designed to keep an existing website online, secure, and technically functional. It is not a visibility, promotional, growth, redesign, or active-management plan.
Eligibility & Minimum Term
- Available only after a website has been built and launched under the Concierge Plan or a separate one-time website agreement
- Requires at least 3 months on the Concierge Plan before downgrading
- Not available as a starting plan or initial website-build plan
- Approval is subject to the condition, scope, and technical needs of the website
Maintenance Status Includes
- Hosting and uptime monitoring
- Security checks and backups
- Fixes for technical website issues
- Fixes for broken links, forms, or display problems
- Occasional minor text or image replacements using client-provided content
Maintenance Status Does Not Include
- Google Business Profile management
- Boss Blueprint™ monthly graphics or posts
- Review monitoring or response support
- Website redesigns or major layout changes
- New pages or substantial content additions
- Marketing campaigns or promotional strategy
- Reporting or monthly insights
- Proactive optimization or ongoing improvements
Website Buy-Out & Transfer
Website Buy-Out & Transfer is an optional, one-time service for eligible clients who want to purchase the Boss Motto-built website and manage it independently after leaving a Boss Motto plan.
Pricing starts at $2,500. Final pricing is based on the website’s size, page count, design, functionality, integrations, content, technical setup, customization, and overall complexity.
Website Buy-Out Includes
- Preparation of the website for transfer
- Transfer into a platform account owned by the client or the client’s business
- Removal from Boss Motto’s agency-managed infrastructure
- Basic access and platform handoff guidance
- Transfer of the website assets expressly included in the approved Buy-Out
After Website Buy-Out
- The client pays the website platform directly
- The client becomes responsible for hosting, security, updates, renewals, settings, and platform management
- Ongoing Boss Motto support is not included
- Additional assistance requires a new agreement, service plan, or paid add-on
