Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: January 1, 2025
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using our website or services, you agree to these terms and conditions.
2. Service Overview
Boss Motto provides custom-designed websites, hosting, and monthly services under a subscription model. Services vary by plan and are subject to availability.
3. Ownership & Intellectual Property
All websites, design assets, and content created under a Boss Motto subscription remain the property of Boss Motto unless a buyout fee is paid. Clients do not have access to backend files or site hosting unless a full transfer is completed.
4. Subscription & Payment
All subscriptions are billed monthly.
If a subscription is canceled, service continues until the end of the billing period.
Subscriptions are billed monthly and must remain current to retain access to services. Non-payment may result in site suspension.
Setup fees are billed at checkout and are non-refundable.
Price changes require 60 days’ prior notice.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
Clients may cancel at any time. Canceled websites will be unpublished at the end of the current billing cycle. No refunds are issued for partial months. Boss Motto retains a backup copy of the site for 30 days after cancellation.
6. Boss Motto Website Buyout Policy – Full Site Transfer & Ownership Terms
In the event that a client requests full transfer of their website, including all backend access, source files, and domain release, Boss Motto offers a buyout option.
The buyout fee will be calculated based on the website’s complexity, total development work performed, and features included, with a minimum charge equivalent to twelve (12) months of the client’s current subscription rate.
This fee ensures fair compensation for the intellectual property, time, and resources invested in creating and managing the website. Upon completion of payment in full, all associated rights and control will be transferred to the client.
Boss Motto reserves the right to determine the final buyout amount and to decline buyout requests for accounts with outstanding balances.
Note: This option is entirely optional. Most clients choose to remain on our subscription plans to continue receiving updates, security monitoring, hosting, and unlimited support.
7. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to provide all required content, branding materials, and feedback in a timely manner to keep the project on schedule.
8. Privacy
Client information will never be sold or shared. Data collected through contact forms or bookings on client websites is owned by the client.
9. Client Portal
If a client portal is introduced, it will require secure login credentials and may include sensitive information related to services.
10. Liability
We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from third-party platforms or services we help you connect to (e.g., Groupon, marketing agencies).
